Paul's Run for Janyaa

Dear Friend,

OK, I completed the Rock ‘n’ Roll San Jose Half Marathon 2 weeks ago and I still have not come close to my target. So I did my bit...I ran 13.1 miles! Can you now help out - no matter how small the donation? To recap: your donation will benefit Janyaa, a non-profit educational organization working with disadvantaged schoolchildren in India.
Janyaa’s programs help children develop problem-solving and creative thinking skills through ‘learn’by-doing’ techniques. Janyaa is a young organization already having a measurable impact on the quality of education in their program schools. In the first year of programming Janyaa reached over 800 children, saw improvement in Math and Science test results and also observed an increase in school attendance on scheduled program days, indicating that the programs are getting children excited about learning. You can find out more about Janyaa’s work by visiting www.janyaa.org.

Our team of runners are working together to raise $10k through our run. My personal goal is to raise $500 on my own. Because of the low overhead costs, this is enough to enroll 50 students in Janyaa’s programs for an entire year. I would appreciate it if you considered making a donation to help me reach this goal.

On behalf of myself, my son Rhys, my lovely wife Laurie, and all the kids who will benefit from this, I thank you very much for your support.

Regards,
Paul
